Endzone 2 Launches Kickstarter Campaign, Plans to Reinvent Survival City Builder Genre
Assemble Entertainment has once again teamed up with Gentlymad Studios to deliver Endzone 2, the sequel to 2021's Endzone - A World Apart. The settlement buses are being refueled, thanks to a new Kickstarter campaign to help progress development. Fans of the original Endzone title can expect new features, dangers, and opportunities to help human survive into the next chapter of its cycle.
Enter the Endzone with New Title from Gentlymad Studios
Gentlymad Studios is turning up the survival aspect of the Endzone franchise to higher level with the implementation of various fresh systems to work with. In Endzone 2, players are encouraged to establish more than one settlement as an omnipresent threat looms over everyone. Droughts, badlands, ancient ruins, and other areas will stretch throughout the game's massive map, which is supported by your economic progress and habitable settlements.
In short, there's a lot more to do in Endzone 2. In addition to the settlements, Gentlymad Studios have made alterations to the settler behavior, vehicle usage, and expedition systems that allows for further in-depth gameplay. Of course, a sequel is not a sequel without some graphical improvements, which is on display with the provided trailer.
The Endzone 2 Kickstarter campaign is currently underway. At the time of this writing, the campaign has accumulated $10,356 in pledges, with a targeted $31,686 goal to reach by October 26, 2023.
